I’m an experienced and certified Simply Music Piano Teacher. I’ve been teaching the unique playing-based method and curriculum since 2005. My aim is for students to retain the ability and love of playing piano forever. I love teaching and I believe learning should be an enjoyable experience. My studio provides a friendly and inspiring environment where students feel safe to express themselves.
I came back to piano as an adult. I had grown up with music as my mother was a very good pianist and a beautiful mezzo soprano. I was like most students, giving up, as I found the read-to-play traditional approach difficult. However, with the Simply Music playing-based approach, that all changed. My students range in age from 5 years to 65+ including those with special needs. “I can’t believe my son can play like this.
